A Chicago based production company that loves story telling and keeps it real - founded in 2011 by partners Erin Babbin and Michael Sullivan. Since its founding they have worked documenting artists, musicians, arts organizations, nonprofits and university programs. Their work in cinema has been screened internationally in Paris, New York, Mexico City, London, Mumbai, Istanbul, Los Angeles, Washington, D.C., Tulum, Missoula, Hamburg, Denver, York, Belleville, San Francisco, Toronto, Park City, and Chicago.

Erin Florence Babbin is a documentary filmmaker who believes in keeping it real. Her work centers around elevating true stories from real people who exist in the margins of the mainstream. Born and raised in Chicago, Erin continues her family’s tradition of artmaking led by her grandmother in photography and her mother in filmmaking. In 2011 she co-founded the Chicago based film and photo production company On The Real Film, which creates social justice and art centered work. |

Michael Sullivan is a Chicago based artist working in film and photography. Born and raised in El Paso, Texas, he studied photography, painting, and printmaking at the University of Texas, Austin. After making the move to Chicago in 2011 he co-founded the documentary film and photo production company On The Real Film with partner Erin Babbin. |
